On our way out of town on Sunday morning, we stopped for breakfast at the
Applewood Farm Restaurant!  It was delicious and fun!  :)

We went to a knife show celebrating the 125th anniversary of Case knives (yes, we
are related to the founders of the company) and while having lunch, David sat in his
baked beans.  While cleaning him up, Georgia noticed the spot from the beans and kept
saying "Dayday, Dayday, Dayday!" like "Look at his pants, guys!"  It was so funny.

Later, back at the cabin, I asked David what his favorite part of the day was.  Every
part I mentioned, he said "No..." and so I finally asked "Was your favorite part sitting
in the baked beans?" and he immediately said "Um yes!!" hahahaha.  He's adorable.

It is unbelievably difficult to take a picture with multiple babies/toddlers in it.  My
family members are troopers when putting up with me trying to get pictures.  Thankful
we finally got this one of my parents with their (born) grandchildren!  Pretty sure the
next "Nana/Papa/Grandkids" picture will have Phoenix in it!!

I have the cutest nephews!!!  Ryan and I took a bathroom selfie :D  I know
firsthand how wonderful it is to have someone with you to hold your child when
you need to use a public restroom.

We managed to get a family picture back at the cabin!  It wasn't easy, that's for
sure.  But we got one with everyone looking and no one crying!  Haha!

We drove through the night to Tennessee, making it there after almost 10 hours.
My parents, my brother and his family were already at the cabin, and they watched
Georgia after we got some breakfast so that Ben and I could get some sleep!

After we got a nice nap, we just chilled around the cabin.  We love to play Uno
(or any game, for that matter) and enjoyed playing it outside on the beautiful porch!

I never know how much I should pack for a trip, so I typically end up packing too much.
Such was the case with our recent trip to Tennessee... but I'd rather have more than we
need than be missing something!  Georgia had many options for outfits ;)

I took my 30 week picture a couple days late.  I almost didn't get it at all.
I had been sick and most definitely not feeling like taking a picture, but we
were leaving for vacation the day after this, and I knew if I didn't get it then,
I wouldn't get it at all.  I was not diligent all this time just to forget a shot at
30 weeks!! ;)  So excuse the tired look, and just revel in the thought that
we only have around 10 weeks left!!! :D

Georgia and I got to visit Ben at work recently!  He and Brandon (his brother) are
building a treehouse, and it's looking really awesome.  Georgia definitely approved ;)

That butterfly, along with 3 or 4 others, kept hanging around the trees in the area.

Runt man.  He really seems to think Phoenix's bed actually belongs to him.

Remember me working on a sweater for Phoenix's little friend?  Well that's
it pictured above!  With Georgia's current favorite book.  That was our gift
to bring for Leah's baby shower.  I love personal gifts, and seeing as I made
the sweater, and that's G's favorite book, this one felt very personal and it
meant a lot that Leah liked it!

Leah's baby is due just 15 days before Phoenix, that's why I call her Phoenix's
little friend :D it's so fun to be pregnant with a friend!  I've been blessed with
someone close in due date through both of my pregnancies.

Do you ever make stupid, rookie mistakes when you know better?
Such as, not checking your gauge?

-.-

I tried a couple new-to-me techniques and I guess I was so excited
about them that I forgot to check my gauge.  I put a bunch of time into
this project - a baby bonnet - and then I realized it would barely even fit
Georgia's doll.  Not cool!  You can bet I won't be making that mistake again.

I'm behind... but I'll catch up soon!

Ok, I've gotten behind (for the umpteenth time) and I'm not
able to catch up now.  I will do so next week.  I promise!

I'll just leave you with a picture of a pretty butterfly :)

I am always amazed by how much Georgia loves yarn.
She'll beg me for the skein of yarn sitting on the table, and the
moment I give it to her she's snuggling it and usually goes to sit
down and suck her thumb.  She truly finds comfort in it!

I've decided to make her a "big sister" gift for when Phoenix
arrives.  I searched and searched for the right pattern and finally
found it.  I wanted to make this gorgeous octopus, but figured
I just didn't have the time to focus on it before October.  So, my
next favorite animal that I found was this Big Cuddly Bunny.

I really think Georgia will love it.  So far it is turning out well
and I haven't had any problems with it (we'll see how I do when
I get to the ears).  It's knitting up rather quickly and easily! :)

I'm using a lightweight ring as my stitch marker since I don't
have any jumbo stitch markers.  Hey... you do what you gotta
do... and it works!

Georgia was being particularly cute while we waited for Nana and Papa to
pick us up for lunch and grocery shopping (since our car is still broken down).
We're thankful for gracious and willing help!!

Look how big Samwise is getting!  He's really starting to look like a cat.
