Our second day at the music festival consisted of much nicer weather.
A little chilly, actually!  I wore my jacket at least half of the day.

Georgia loved watching and talking to the chickens and peacocks.
In the first pic she's saying "Hi bah!" (hi bird)

Bottom pic is the three of our "group" that are currently pregnant!
32 weeks, 13 weeks and 11 weeks! :)
We have more pregnant friends, but they weren't there this year.

On Saturday we were at a local music festival all day.  It ended up
raining (pouring) with lightning and thunder, and so I wasn't about to bring
my camera out.  I took this picture with Ben's phone.  After the rain stopped,
Georgia was relocating all the rocks from the road to the puddles.
Serious business.

And it's finished!  Other than a tiny (super easy) mouse, I think
that's the quickest I've ever completed a knitting project :)

This is obviously small too, but it was more complicated than
the little mouse.  I'm really beginning to love knitting with
double pointed needles!

I hope the little baby I knitted this for enjoys it!

Working on a small project while in between larger projects.
It's nice to be able to start and finish something in a short amount
of time.  Larger projects are very rewarding, that's for sure.  But
sometimes, I just need a small one I can whip up quickly.

There is nothing special about the quality of this picture, that is
for sure.  But the subject is one of my favorite things.  Seeing her
sleeping is just the sweetest, most peaceful thing.  It makes me
just stop and soak her in.

I had to wake her up on Tuesday so that we could head out for
my midwife appointment!  Everything went well and baby's
doing just fine.  Seeing the baby roll and kick was so comforting
and amazing.  I can't believe we have two children.

Georgia had a popsicle with her bath on Monday :)
I used to do this often as a child.

Sorry for the lateness in posting recently!  I promise I'll get better :)

So I've got a story for you today.

See that crazy ant hill?  They're going crazy because Georgia stepped on their home.
She somehow only managed to get 2 ants on her and no bites.  I saw her right as she was
going to step on it and rushed over, ready to rip off her shoes and get millions of ants
off of her.  But no need!  I just brushed 2 ants off.  So thankful.

But then, I wanted to get a picture of the crazy ants going crazy, so I'm doing so, and I
suddenly hear Georgia crying.  I turn around to see her sitting in the pond.  She had walked
right into it because it didn't look like water with the algae on it and plants in it.  Thankfully
she was only about waist deep, sitting on the edge of the pond.
Naturally, I ran over and as I'm doing so, the kids yell "There's a gator in there!" so I run
faster, grab her arm and pull her out.  She was quite scared and I was right there with her.
Ben brought out a towel and we wrapped her up.  She lost one of her shoes in the water,
but Ben found it and got it out.

After I got her out of her wet clothes and diaper, she was fine again and had some reading
time in Memaw's chair by the window.  With that apple toy.  She loves that thing.

Also, I'm 10 weeks along now!

Georgia was dressed up all pretty for a wedding today!
It was the 5th wedding I've been to in the last 6 weeks.

After we got home, she got to have her first popsicle!  I'm sure it
will be one of many this summer.  It was a big craving of mine when I
was pregnant with Georgia, and it's just a great way to cool down :)

First day of spring!

We enjoyed it with a little snack outside.
And some "close up" pictures...

I set the timer for the picnic pictures, and she decided that it would
be better if she were closer to the camera.  She'd walk up to it saying
"Cheeeeese." :)

Ok, I got behind in posting again.  I'm sorry.

On this day, I didn't take any pictures (not even with our phones).  So, I took a picture
later on of something that represents that day!  I learned about doTERRA essential oils
at a class and then received my kit that evening!  I'm very excited to do some more
research and learn more about using these oils.  Especially during pregnancy, labor &
delivery, etc.  I know they'll be very beneficial.  I just want to be sure I use them safely
and correctly. I'm just so excited about being able to take care of my family in
a natural, God-given way.

We've got blossoms on our little orange tree!  It smells so yummy.

Georgia "turned" 18 months on Sunday, and I finally got to get
some pictures of her today to record this momentous occasion! ;)

I was utterly exhausted on Sunday, so it didn't happen then.  And
then yesterday it was rainy and stormy all day!  So, today was the day.

I can't believe she's 18 months old already.  She is such a joy and
blessing to us.  Always making us laugh.  Always teaching us something.
There is never a dull moment with her.  Even the quiet moments are full.
She makes our hearts so full.  I can't even imagine what another one will
be like!  She's going to be an amazing big sister.  I can't wait to see
what she will think of her new baby sister or brother!

Oh, and in the last picture, she's saying "Bah." which means bird.
She's been really fond of birds lately!  She gets really excited when she
sees them flying, or just sees them in general.  Words cannot describe
our love for this precious little girl.

Georgia is learning how to brush her teeth!

First time we tried wasn't much of a success, so this second time, Ben
brushed his teeth with her and she got a much better idea of how to do it.

We had a great time at Ashlynn's 3rd birthday party!

It was extremely windy that day.  I even lost my balance a few times.

Georgia loved the Hudson's new doggy :)
She also thoroughly enjoyed her yummy cupcake!

Happy birthday, Ashlynn!

I am so behind in my posting!
Ben and I shot a wedding this weekend... ^ their wedding, to be exact ;)
Andrew and Anna were a really wonderful couple to work with.

Anyways, I was completely exhausted afterwards, then we had our nieces
birthday party the next day, and I've just stayed behind in posting since.  BUT, I've
got a photo for each day.  I just have to post them all :)  Very soon, I promise!

Messy face, "cheese" grin girl.

And her first scraped knee!  She actually scraped both of them, I just didn't realize it until later.

We enjoyed a windy, warm day outside today.

This dress was given to us very soon after we found out we were expecting a girl.
It was so hard to imagine Georgia ever fitting in it, and now she's there!
Our baby is growing up and will no longer be the baby in a few quick months!
Although, she'll always be our baby.

I didn't take a single picture today.

I wrote about my day over on our family blog though, if you'd like my excuse ;)

Daylight Saving Time.... I kind of like it.
I really do love when it gets dark early.  There's something cozy about it
and it means that it's winter (which I love).  But as a photographer, I
absolutely love having some extra time to catch that beautiful sunlight!

Also, kudos to my hubby for taking the beautifully lit picture of Georgia and I.
And I love those little bitty foot prints in the sand ♥

We went to Dick's Sporting Goods earlier to look at some things for Ben.
Georgia enjoyed meandering about the store (with Mommy chasing after her).
She slowed down a bit when I gave her the 1 pound weights ;)

I'm 8 weeks along today!

Some child friends of ours (including Ben's 6 younger siblings) put on a play
of Pilgrim's Progress all on their own, and on Saturday, we got to see it!

We were very impressed with everyone's performance, they did a wonderful job!

Afterwards, Georgia thoroughly enjoyed playing with her Aunt Provi and Aunt Beri.

This mouse.

It belonged to my Grandma, and I used to play with it a lot at her house.
When we recently went through all of my grandparents' things, we found him, and Georgia
fell in love.  She has stayed in love with him and carries him all over the place now.
