Georgia was giving Phoenix a sticker and decided "her Phoenix" needed one as well.

I've been so behind in posting, and I'm simply not feeling up to trying to get caught up
and find pictures for each day.  So, I'm just going to post what I have for now!

On Georgia's birthday I decided to take her out to lunch (we ended up getting
to meet up with Daddy!) and frozen yogurt and to walk around town.  It was a
really sweet day and I'm so glad we had it together.

We had a fun day today!

Ben's little brother, Boaz, got baptized in the ocean.

Then we went back to my parents' house and Ben and Georgia swam in
the pool for a while.  She has become much more of a water baby than we
would've anticipated a year ago.  She loves it!

And when we got home, Ben helped Georgia try and figure out her new
tricycle (that she got from Memaw and Papaw for her birthday)!
She loves it, and I'm kind of sad because of how grown up she looks on it.

I'm really making a huge effort to drink at least my minimum amount of water
per day, and being more conscious about what else I'm drinking at eating.  I
typically don't eat a ton, so I have to make my calories count!

Had to take a hospital selfie with my amazing man.  He's so loving and supportive.  I don't
know what I'd do without him!  Or without the support of our families, praying for us and
helping with Georgia.  Thank you all so much!!!

Saturday was an eventful day.

My dear friend, Jean Marie, came over for most of the day to take our family/maternity
pictures.  We had such a great time.  We just chilled around the house, experimenting with
different photo ideas.  We even took a nap!  Then we headed to our local train station for
some outdoor pictures, got rained out, and headed to dinner.

After dinner, Jean went home, and then everything changed.

I went to the bathroom and noticed some spotting.  After texting with my midwife some,
and spotting a little more, we decided it would be best if we went to the hospital.  We'd much
rather be safe than sorry.

Long story-short: I was dehydrated, causing contractions, which likely caused irritation to
my cervix, which caused the spotting.  My water had not broken (praise the Lord) and Phoenix
was totally fine.  I convinced them I could drink enough water and they didn't feel the need
to give me an IV (if you know me, you know how happy that made me, and how willing I was
to CHUG water if necessary).  They gave me some meds to stop the contractions, and after
about 3 hours of being there I was free to go home!

So now, as you can imagine, I'm keeping track of my water intake and watching my caffeine
intake as well.  I absolutely do not want to go through that again.  I'm looking forward to at
least 3 more weeks with this baby inside me!!  Hopefully longer, if that's what she needs.

~

Jean has been posting pictures on her facebook photography page, and I will definitely
be sharing more on my blog when I have them!!!

Ben did a jiu jitsu tournament up in Atlanta recently!

Georgia loves her Daddy.

I took Georgia back to the hotel for some swimming and a nap, and I just
soaked up every minute of being there next to her sleeping.  There's just
something about a sleeping baby/toddler!!

Georgia knows exactly where I keep Phoenix's blanket that I'm knitting, and she knows
she's not allowed to take it out of the bag.  So she just goes over and sits there with her hand
in the bag, playing with Nixie's blanket while sucking her thumb.

I love making things for friends.  Can't wait to share that finished project on the blog soon!

On our way out of town on Sunday morning, we stopped for breakfast at the
Applewood Farm Restaurant!  It was delicious and fun!  :)

I have the cutest nephews!!!  Ryan and I took a bathroom selfie :D  I know
firsthand how wonderful it is to have someone with you to hold your child when
you need to use a public restroom.

We managed to get a family picture back at the cabin!  It wasn't easy, that's for
sure.  But we got one with everyone looking and no one crying!  Haha!

We drove through the night to Tennessee, making it there after almost 10 hours.
My parents, my brother and his family were already at the cabin, and they watched
Georgia after we got some breakfast so that Ben and I could get some sleep!

After we got a nice nap, we just chilled around the cabin.  We love to play Uno
(or any game, for that matter) and enjoyed playing it outside on the beautiful porch!

I took my 30 week picture a couple days late.  I almost didn't get it at all.
I had been sick and most definitely not feeling like taking a picture, but we
were leaving for vacation the day after this, and I knew if I didn't get it then,
I wouldn't get it at all.  I was not diligent all this time just to forget a shot at
30 weeks!! ;)  So excuse the tired look, and just revel in the thought that
we only have around 10 weeks left!!! :D

Remember me working on a sweater for Phoenix's little friend?  Well that's
it pictured above!  With Georgia's current favorite book.  That was our gift
to bring for Leah's baby shower.  I love personal gifts, and seeing as I made
the sweater, and that's G's favorite book, this one felt very personal and it
meant a lot that Leah liked it!

Leah's baby is due just 15 days before Phoenix, that's why I call her Phoenix's
little friend :D it's so fun to be pregnant with a friend!  I've been blessed with
someone close in due date through both of my pregnancies.

She brought me my hippo slippers.  One for me to wear, one for her to wear.

Oh, and see that dark blur at the bottom of the left picture?  That's Phoenix ;)

Georgia has been joining us in bed in the mornings quite a bit lately.
Ben got this shot of her snuggled up to me :) she's such a cuddle bug.

This was a sweet start to what ended up being a not so great day.
This was the day of my glucose tolerance test, meaning I was going to
be getting my blood drawn.  The mere thought of getting my blood
drawn makes me nauseated.  Ben got off work for the morning so he
could be there with me - for which, I was very grateful.

He started driving Georgia and I to my appointment, we were
already running late, and then the car broke down.

To make a long story short, my Mom quickly came to pick up
Georgia and I, and Ben had to stay with the car to get it towed.
Thus, Ben was no longer able to make it to my appointment.

It was a rough day, for sure.  But it honestly helped whenever I
thought about Georgia's sweet morning snuggles and this picture.

It's the little things.

We celebrated our niece's birthday on Monday (and Tuesday, actually!) and the
three of us ended up snuggled on the couch together :)  I love them so much.

We had rather the mud-graced day on Saturday.

Georgia zonked in my arms after playing in mud for hours.
And then I ended up getting dropped in muddy water at the end
of the day.  It's a long, entertaining story I might tell on the blog
someday :)  Georgia and I were quite a sight!

Much sweetness today.

Hot tea and a perfect table to rest it on.

Newborn clothes... an outfit that Georgia wore.

We had our families over to celebrate Independence Day on the 5th!
My Dad and brother are fire fighters and they were both on duty on the
4th, so we took the next day as our opportunity to hang out with our
families! :)  It was a fun day, despite the rain keeping us mostly inside.
