I love this outfit and I love her little self.  She's looking so much like a toddler/child and
not much at all like a baby anymore.  She's going to be such a giant when Phoenix gets here.

Look how gorgeous he is.

I put a table cloth over Phoenix's cosleeper since it has birth stuff
in it right now and all the cats love to lay in it.

They still love to lay in it :)

Georgia and I decided to try Jamberry nails recently!  I looove them.  And I'm
very impressed with how well they stood the test of the toddler.  I can't wait to do
it again, but we're going to wait until Phoenix is here so we have pretty nails
for her newborn photos!

It was pretty darn exciting to get the crib set up for Phoenix.  She won't be staying in
her room for a while, but it's nice to have a bed set up in there for naps and whatnot.

I'm working on this sweater for Georgia and I was hoping to have it finished
before Phoenix gets here.  We'll see if that happens or not ;)

Georgia and Sam love to play together!!

I finally got Nixie's blanket finished!  So happy with the outcome.
It is incredibly pillowy and soft.

Georgia was giving Phoenix a sticker and decided "her Phoenix" needed one as well.

I've been so behind in posting, and I'm simply not feeling up to trying to get caught up
and find pictures for each day.  So, I'm just going to post what I have for now!

On Georgia's birthday I decided to take her out to lunch (we ended up getting
to meet up with Daddy!) and frozen yogurt and to walk around town.  It was a
really sweet day and I'm so glad we had it together.

We had a fun day today!

Ben's little brother, Boaz, got baptized in the ocean.

Then we went back to my parents' house and Ben and Georgia swam in
the pool for a while.  She has become much more of a water baby than we
would've anticipated a year ago.  She loves it!

And when we got home, Ben helped Georgia try and figure out her new
tricycle (that she got from Memaw and Papaw for her birthday)!
She loves it, and I'm kind of sad because of how grown up she looks on it.

Georgia had a great time at her simple, Minnie Mouse birthday party on Saturday!
We went to the springs like we did for her 1st birthday party, and we just kept decor/prep to a
minimum.  I'm not up for a whole lot lately, but I did not want to skip celebrating her birthday.
It was a hot day, but I think everyone had a good time and most people went swimming!

Georgia helped me make the cupcakes for her birthday party this weekend!
She loves to help me bake.  Whenever she sees me get typical baking things out
(flour, sugar, etc.) she goes and pushes a chair into the kitchen so she can help.

Sam and Gus are good buddies.... as long as Gus isn't stepping on Sam's tail or
putting his entire head in his mouth.

Our sweetie pie.
She loves that necklace.

We got to go to the treehouse again so I could take pictures of the finished product!
The guys did such an amazing job - it's beautiful!  Check out some pictures on the
Facebook page, and there will be more posted soon!

I'm really making a huge effort to drink at least my minimum amount of water
per day, and being more conscious about what else I'm drinking at eating.  I
typically don't eat a ton, so I have to make my calories count!

Had to take a hospital selfie with my amazing man.  He's so loving and supportive.  I don't
know what I'd do without him!  Or without the support of our families, praying for us and
helping with Georgia.  Thank you all so much!!!

Saturday was an eventful day.

My dear friend, Jean Marie, came over for most of the day to take our family/maternity
pictures.  We had such a great time.  We just chilled around the house, experimenting with
different photo ideas.  We even took a nap!  Then we headed to our local train station for
some outdoor pictures, got rained out, and headed to dinner.

After dinner, Jean went home, and then everything changed.

I went to the bathroom and noticed some spotting.  After texting with my midwife some,
and spotting a little more, we decided it would be best if we went to the hospital.  We'd much
rather be safe than sorry.

Long story-short: I was dehydrated, causing contractions, which likely caused irritation to
my cervix, which caused the spotting.  My water had not broken (praise the Lord) and Phoenix
was totally fine.  I convinced them I could drink enough water and they didn't feel the need
to give me an IV (if you know me, you know how happy that made me, and how willing I was
to CHUG water if necessary).  They gave me some meds to stop the contractions, and after
about 3 hours of being there I was free to go home!

So now, as you can imagine, I'm keeping track of my water intake and watching my caffeine
intake as well.  I absolutely do not want to go through that again.  I'm looking forward to at
least 3 more weeks with this baby inside me!!  Hopefully longer, if that's what she needs.

~

Jean has been posting pictures on her facebook photography page, and I will definitely
be sharing more on my blog when I have them!!!

Nana came over to help us do some things in prep for Phoenix.  Sweet Georgia loooves
her Nana.  No way Nana was going anywhere without her (or at least, without her checking
in on her).  We're so thankful for Nana!

Samwise has been partial to sleeping in this basket lately.  It's quite cute.
