She brought me my hippo slippers.  One for me to wear, one for her to wear.

Oh, and see that dark blur at the bottom of the left picture?  That's Phoenix ;)

She's so peaceful when she's sleeping.
And I just realized how big she's getting.  She's going
to seem like a giant when Phoenix gets here.

Georgia has been joining us in bed in the mornings quite a bit lately.
Ben got this shot of her snuggled up to me :) she's such a cuddle bug.

This was a sweet start to what ended up being a not so great day.
This was the day of my glucose tolerance test, meaning I was going to
be getting my blood drawn.  The mere thought of getting my blood
drawn makes me nauseated.  Ben got off work for the morning so he
could be there with me - for which, I was very grateful.

He started driving Georgia and I to my appointment, we were
already running late, and then the car broke down.

To make a long story short, my Mom quickly came to pick up
Georgia and I, and Ben had to stay with the car to get it towed.
Thus, Ben was no longer able to make it to my appointment.

It was a rough day, for sure.  But it honestly helped whenever I
thought about Georgia's sweet morning snuggles and this picture.

It's the little things.

We celebrated our niece's birthday on Monday (and Tuesday, actually!) and the
three of us ended up snuggled on the couch together :)  I love them so much.

We had dinner at my parents' house on Sunday - I always love watching
Georgia play with her cousins.  And Ben is an awesome uncle :)

We had rather the mud-graced day on Saturday.

Georgia zonked in my arms after playing in mud for hours.
And then I ended up getting dropped in muddy water at the end
of the day.  It's a long, entertaining story I might tell on the blog
someday :)  Georgia and I were quite a sight!

I was extra tired on this day, so we were cuddled on the couch watching Beauty and
the Beast.  I got up from my spot to get a drink and come back to her sitting with my
pillow and my blanket.  She told me to sit with her pillow and blanket instead.
She thought she was pretty cute... and she was ;)

I finally stopped to put the labels on my oils one day while Georgia was
napping.  She woke up while I was still working on it and had all the oils
lined up along the edge of the table.  She immediately started saying "Bah...
bah... bah..." (meaning "back" as in "Let's put them back.") and she walked
right over to the table and started putting them all back in the box.

She loves oils.  We have to keep them safe and out of her reach or it could
be dangerous if she got one open!  Thankfully she hasn't mastered twisting
tops off yet, but I would never risk it.

This is what happens when I let Georgia carry around a hank of yarn for a week.
A tangled mess, I tell ya.  Although, I'm getting pretty good at untangling yarn ;)

Finishing up Baby Lynn's sweater.  I'm not sure why I always
avoided things with buttons... they're not hard at all!  These pins
are marking the spots where buttons needed to go :)
