It was pretty darn exciting to get the crib set up for Phoenix.  She won't be staying in

her room for a while, but it's nice to have a bed set up in there for naps and whatnot.

That dog.

She is definitely turning out to be a dress up girl.  I was doing something and

suddenly heard "clop clop clop..." and came to find her dressed in my only pair

of heels and her fabulous, hot pink, sparkly sunglasses.

Sweet puppy.  Sweet girl.  Sweet sunshine.

And I finally had Ben get some pictures of my tattoo!  I've had a few

people ask me about it recently, so I thought I'd go ahead and post
about it.  Sooo, I did, over on our family blog!  Right here :)

I'm just going to make a long story short.

Basically, Ben got a spider bite, didn't realize it at first, and then it ended up getting infected.

He went to the ER on Wednesday morning and they gave him some antibiotics and told him

to rest until it's better.  He's been home from work since Wednesday and we're hoping (sort of)

that he'll be well enough to go back to work on Monday.

Of course, I'm always thrilled to have him home, but he does need to work, and we really

want him to feel better!!!

I took this picture the day he went to the ER.  He was exhausted.  And Gus was very much

enjoying having him home (as were we all)!

Well, this morning I woke up to this.  And a very in-trouble dog.

Looks like I'll have to get some new ones. I had
found these at Ross for only $12, probably 6+ years
ago. It'd be nice if I could find that deal again!

Ben had a seminar out of town this weekend, and Georgia and I had a baby

shower to go to.  So, Georgia and I stayed with my Mom while Ben was away,

and since we couldn't just leave Gus alone, friends of ours kept him for us.

His face was so funny in the car on the way there.  He definitely was not sure

where we were taking him.  Although he ended up having a wonderful time

with his new puppy friend (who's only a few weeks older than him).

We enjoyed it with a little snack outside.

I set the timer for the picnic pictures, and she decided that it would

We enjoyed a windy, warm day outside today.

This dress was given to us very soon after we found out we were expecting a girl.

It was so hard to imagine Georgia ever fitting in it, and now she's there!

Our baby is growing up and will no longer be the baby in a few quick months!

Although, she'll always be our baby.

Since we had a long day yesterday, Georgia ended up sleeping past

11am this morning!  Her room was well lit when I went in to get her up.

She and Gus ran off some energy outside - it was actually hot enough

to be sweating when we were out!  Spring is certainly on its way.

After coming home from the store today, I let Gus out and he and Georgia immediately

took off for the backyard.  So I took the groceries in and went back out to let them play

for a little while (even though it was kind of hot and I really wanted to be inside).

I love how happy Georgia is when she's outside.  I don't even have to talk to her.

She just does her own little thing, exploring and adventuring all around our property.
