My Mom came over on Thursday and helped me make a few lasagnas, 1 for dinner, 2 to

freeze (for later use when I'm tired just before Phoenix is here and tired after she's here).

Smiling baby Wolf.  I did his newborn pictures on Tuesday and

it went really well!  Probably the easiest newborn shoot I've had.

He was very content and easy.  And his family is just wonderful.

I don't know if I've got a photo for this day.  There aren't any on my camera but I seem to

remember taking some with Ben's phone.  When he's home from work I'll take a look! :)

We went over to Memaw and Papaw's Sunday evening so the guys

could talk about work stuff.  Georgia got to eat half of their

watermelon while we were there.  Or... at least it seemed like it ;)

We had our families over to celebrate Independence Day on the 5th!

My Dad and brother are fire fighters and they were both on duty on the

4th, so we took the next day as our opportunity to hang out with our

families! :)  It was a fun day, despite the rain keeping us mostly inside.

Apparently sometimes, it can be difficult to keep your butt

on the couch.

I've really been enjoying knitting some things for Phoenix!

Here are her blanket and sweater, both a work in progress.

I can't wait to show her off with the finished products!  :D
